Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast from your hotel in Nairobi, we will pick you up and leave for Masai Mara. We'll drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the Serengeti vast plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Have lunch at our camp and relax before departing for the afternoon drive. Other animals in the park include the Maasai giraffe, buffalo, eland and thousands of plain game including impala, zebra, topi, both Thompsons and Grant gazelles.
Day 2 - Masai Mara Full Day Game Drives
After the morning breakfast at 6:30 am, you will leave for a full-day game drive with packed lunch. The search for the great wild animals continues. On the plains are large herds of herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is, for this reason, a visitor hardly misses seeing the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). The midday meals will be at the picnic Mara River migration point. Later, you will return to the camp for dinner.
Day 3 - Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, visit a traditional Maasai Village, where you’ll experience the rich culture of this iconic tribe—famous for their colorful attire, cattle culture, and high-jumping warriors. After this insightful experience, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in the afternoon for lunch and an en-route game drive.Lake Nakuru is known for its population of endangered black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and seasonal flamingo flocks that line the shoreline in hues of pink.
Day 4 - Lake Nakuru-Amboseli National Park
Begin your day with an early morning breakfast, Afterward, depart for Amboseli National Park, with a hot lunch stop in Nairobi. Arrive in Amboseli in the late evening. Famous for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and open plains, Amboseli offers a picturesque setting for your safari adventure. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Osutua Tented Camp.
Day 5 - Amboseli National Park Full Day Game Drive
Spend a full day exploring the stunning Amboseli ecosystem. With Mt. Kilimanjaro towering in the background, enjoy game drives across dry lake beds, swamps, and savannah. The park offers some of the best elephant viewing in Africa, along with chances to spot buffalo, cheetah, lion, hyena, giraffe, and an abundance of birdlife.
Day 6 - Amboseli National Park-Nairobi
Have an early morning game drive in search of animals killing and eating. Later, come back to the lodge for breakfast then check out of the lodge or tented camp. You'll leave for Nairobi with a packed lunch en route to Nairobi. In Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport for your return flight.
